St. Modwen Logistics proudly announces the completion of its latest warehouse facility at St. Modwen Park Gatwick, leased to DHL Group for a 15-year term. This marks the second warehouse on the site, complementing DHL’s existing 64,000ft² unit occupied since 2011.

Ellen Thomas, Senior Development Manager at St. Modwen Logistics, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We are delighted to announce the successful completion of our new, sustainable warehouse at St. Modwen Park Gatwick, dedicated to DHL Group. This cutting-edge facility, boasting an EPC ‘A+’ rating, is poised to support up to 150 jobs, contributing to a vibrant local economy. The fact that this is DHL Group’s second development on the site underscores our commitment to collaborating with our clients to deliver high-quality, tailored spaces that foster success.”

The new DHL warehouse holds an impressive EPC ‘A+’ rating and is on track to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification, aligning with St. Modwen Logistics’ commitment to sustainability. The facility incorporates over 20,000ft² of photovoltaic (PV) panels on its roof, generating renewable energy to power the building’s 12,000ft² of Grade A office space, ensuring it operates as a net-zero carbon facility.

Noteworthy sustainability and well-being features include 28 electric vehicle (EV) charging spaces, a cycle path with designated bays, shower and changing facilities, and outdoor gym equipment.
